Spain's Rafael Nadal on Sunday defeated Casper Roode in the men's singles final of the French Open 2022 to win his record 22 Grand Slam titles.

Continuing his winning streak in Paris, Red Gravel King Nadal defeated Roode 6-3, 6-3, 6-0.

This record of the Spanish player is the 14th French Open trophy.

With this victory, he also became the oldest player to win the final of Roland Garros.

Fans on social media have loved calling him the 'real champion' after the 36-year-old won his 14th French Open title and 22nd Grand Slam.

Along with the fans, the sports world and celebrities from all over the world have saluted his success.
