Most of the transfer talk about Real Madrid has focused on the possible summer arrival, especially after the money saved from the failure of the transfer of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.

However, in terms of numbers, there may be more departures than arrivals in Valdebebas.

According to the Marca

newspaper

, Real Madrid has a list of nine players who will be allowed to leave the club in proper conditions.

Three of them have already been confirmed as departures.

Marcelo, Gareth Bale and Isco Alarcon have all said goodbye to deals that expire this summer, realizing they will not be offered new deals.

Reserve goalkeeper Andriy Lunin could also leave this summer to earn minutes on any other team, though he is likely to be on loan.

Luka Jovic is determined to leave the club as he has been completely forgotten by any coach since arriving in Madrid, with Milan being mentioned as a possible destination.

Real Madrid are also looking to oust Mariano Diaz.

The striker has previously turned down several offers to leave the Santiago Bernabeu, but appears to be more open to leaving this time.

Jesus Vallejo is another name that Real Madrid would have no problem continuing to stay.

The central defender arrived at the club with many promises in 2015, but failed to meet expectations.

However any transfer will be tricky, as the player is happy to continue at the club, even if it means little time to play.

The two most complicated cases are Marco Asensio and Dani Ceballos.

The former has one year left on his contract and so far has not been able to agree on a new contract and wants to feel important and can leave to do so.

Real Madrid's third top scorer last season, Asensio struggled to retain a starting place in the latter part of the season, but has returned to the Spain squad.

Meanwhile, Ceballos has been linked with a return to Real Betis and is in the same contract situation as Asensio.

Despite the good performance at the end of the season, Real Madrid does not seem to want to believe in him in the long run.
