Giorgio Chiellini has decided to leave Juventus after 17 years at the Old Lady.

The American center-back has already been greeted by the black and white fans and last night's match against Fiorentina was the last for him with the Juve jersey.

The 37-year-old will still be part of active football and is expected to continue his career in the American football elite MLS.

The American team Los Angeles FC is the favorite to sign with the Italian center-back and already the leaders of the club have arrived in Italy.

In the next few hours, the player's agent, Davide Lippi, will meet with US executives to close the deal.

Los Angeles FC is ready to offer Chiellini a two-year contract with an annual salary of over four million euros per season.

However, other MLS teams such as Toronto, New York City and New York Red Bulls have also expressed interest in the Italian veteran.
