Explosion of 16 year old Indian Grandmaster R Pragyanand

16-year-old Indian Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa (Chessable Masters Indian teenager Praggnanandhaa) beat Magnus Carlsen for the second time this year to outperform the current world champion in the fifth round of the Chessable Masters.

Earlier this year, Pragyanand had defeated Carlson and now after three months he has once again made a big bang by outperforming Carlson.

Chessable Masters is a 16-player online rapid chess tournament in which Carlsen and Pragyanandan were heading towards a draw but Carlsen made a big mistake on his 40th move which was taken advantage of by Pragyanand and managed to beat Carlsen .

Let us tell you that in February this year, Pragyanand did a wonderful job of defeating Carlson in the AirThings Masters Online Rapid Tournament.  


Talking about the Chessable Masters tournament, after the second day, Carlsen is in third place with a score of 15 while Pragyanand is in fifth place with 12 points.

China's Wei Yi is on top with a score of 18, followed by David Anton who has a score of 15.
