To appeal the ruling for fraud, Trump must pay the million-dollar fine 2:02

(CNN) ––

Former President of the United States Donald Trump posted $175 million bail to appeal the ruling against him in a civil fraud case in New York, which was brought by state Attorney General Letitia James.

  • This is what can happen if Trump does not get the US$ 464 million bail

The bail amount was reduced by several hundred million by a state appeals court last month after Trump's lawyers argued that covering the entire bail amount of the $464 million verdict against him was not feasible. (Trump himself was ordered to pay $454 million; the $464 million includes payments to his adult sons Don Jr. and Eric.)
