Russian troops continue their offensive on Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region and claim to be advancing near Bohdanivka, but American analysts have not observed confirmed changes to the front line in the area.

This is stated in a recent report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

A Russian blogger claimed that Russian troops had advanced

near Bohdanivka

(northwest of Bakhmut), although ISW found no evidence for this claim.

Positional battles continued in the area of Bohdanivka, west of Bakhmut in the area of Ivanivsky and Chasovoy Yar, and southwest of Bakhmut in the area of Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and Yuzhnoye.

Analysts cite the statement of the female commanders of the Ukrainian battalion of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which operates in the Bakhmut direction, that Russian troops are concentrating their strikes in the direction of Chasiv Yar.

"In the direction of Bakhmut, units of the 4th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Federation (2nd Army Corps of the LPR) and units of the Russian 6th Motorized Rifle Brigade are reportedly operating near Spirny (north-east of Bakhmut)," the message said. .
