BJP has released the first list of candidates for Lok Sabha Election 2024.

The party has tried to give proper representation to every section in this list.

Besides, priority has been given to young faces with experience in the list.

A large number of tickets have also been given to women candidates in the list.

Through this, BJP has tried to woo people of every class and community, so that a positive signal about the party is sent to the general public before the Lok Sabha elections. 

BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde said that the party has fielded 27 SC candidates out of 195 candidates.

Whereas the number of ST candidates is 18.

However, OBC community has also been given considerable representation in this list.

The party has given tickets to 57 OBC candidates.

Congress and Rahul Gandhi have been targeting BJP regarding OBC community, in such a situation the party has responded through the first list. 

47 candidates below 50 years of age

Tawde said that the party has given tickets to 47 candidates below 50 years of age.

In such a situation, the party has expressed confidence in youth power along with experience.

The party has also tried to give proper representation to women power in this list and the party has fielded 28 women candidates. 

Women representation 14.3%, OBC 29.23% 

The party has given 14.3 percent representation to women in this list.

Whereas OBC is 29.23 percent, SC is 13.8 percent and ST is 9.23 percent.

Along with this, the party has given tickets to 47 candidates below 50 years of age, which is 24.01 percent of the total candidates. 

51 names from Uttar Pradesh in BJP's first list 

BJP has announced 195 names in this list.

The party has announced the names of candidates for 51 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.

The names of veteran party Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are also included in this list.

While PM Modi will once again contest from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat, Amit Shah has been made a candidate from Gandhinagar.
