A 55-year-old man was arrested in Poland, who hid from the police and changed his name and even his gender twice to avoid arrest.

The Polish publication onet.pl writes about it.

The police officers of the Wrocław police department detained a wanted resident of Wrocław in Gdynia.

The 55-year-old man had been hiding from the police since October 2023.

The man was sentenced to imprisonment for various frauds.

The convict, trying to hide from the law enforcement agencies, changed his name and surname twice.

The 55-year-old man also changed his gender.

On February 24, Wroclaw police officers, with the support of services from Gdynia, searched for a 55-year-old man and arrested him in one of the apartments.

The man was completely surprised by the actions of the law enforcement officers.

"He pretended to be a service provider or a businessman and offered services that he had no intention of performing," Wroclaw police said.

The man is in one of the detention centers.

Other proceedings are pending against the 55-year-old man.

He may face new charges.

It will be recalled that in the Polish city of Szczecin in the north-west of the country, an unknown man in a car hit pedestrians who were crossing the roadway at a designated place.

The driver fled the scene of the accident, ramming four more cars.
