Karnataka Police is trying to identify the accused

New Delhi:

The suspect involved in the Bengaluru blast has been captured in CCTV footage.

This is the first CCTV footage of the suspected accused of this blast.

The police is currently trying to identify the accused on the basis of this footage.

In this footage from outside Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru, a suspicious person is seen wearing a white cap.

Hanging the bag on your shoulder.

Police suspect that the same person seen in the CCTV footage had planted the agar bag inside the cafe.

Only after which this explosion occurred.

Karnataka Police is currently investigating this matter.

Many people have also been taken into custody at present. 

Immediately after receiving information about the blast, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) team reached the spot.

Those injured in the blast include cafe employees and guards.

The injured are currently undergoing treatment. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah urged the public not to politicize the incident and called for cooperation in the ongoing investigation.

The Chief Minister said that the blast might have been caused by an "improvised explosive" device.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, who visited the blast site along with Home Minister G Parameshwara.

He said that the explosion occurred around 1 pm.

Before the incident, a 28-30 year old youth came to the café, bought Rava Idli at the counter, kept the bag near a tree (next to the café) and left.

Shortly after this there was an explosion. 

On the other hand, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) has taken over the investigation, several teams are actively searching for clues to identify the accused.

State police chief Alok Mohan described the incident as a "bomb blast" but assured the public that no one was seriously injured. 

9 people have been injured

Let us tell you that 9 people have been injured in the bomb blast in Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru on Friday.

After the incident, the anti-terrorism National Investigation Agency and forensic teams along with the bomb disposal squad also reached the spot.

Many important evidences have been collected from the spot.

On the basis of which this matter is being investigated. 

FIR has been registered

After this blast, the police said that they are trying to find out what was the reason for the explosion at The Rameshwaram Cafe.

A team of NIA, bomb squad and forensic laboratory reached the cafe.

Police have registered an FIR under anti-terrorism laws, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Explosive Substances Act.

It was an IED blast

At the same time, Karnataka CM CM Siddaramaiah said about this blast that according to the information, there was an explosion at around 12.30 pm, there was a bag there, investigation of the matter is going on, I have come to know that it was an IED blast.

The moments before and after the explosion were captured in the CCTV installed in the cafe.

In the footage, customers are seen waiting near the counter.

Meanwhile, a waiter was about to place the plate on the counter when there was a huge explosion and a part of the cafe got damaged due to the explosion.
