The last day of winter in

This was reported by the Central Geophysical Observatory named after Boris Sreznevsky.

On February 29,

the maximum air temperature reached 12.1°C

, which is 2.8°C higher than the previous record for this day in 2008.

According to the observations of the weather station of the Borys Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, the average daily air temperature turned out to be the highest during the observation period for this day and amounted to 5.0°C, which exceeded the previous record of 2016 by 0.4°C.
