The Russian occupation army is making a "powerful rush" to Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region.

The invaders are accumulating their forces in the east of Ukraine.

Ilya Yevlash, the head of the press service of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group of troops, announced this on the air of Radio Svoboda.

According to him, the Russian Federation considers this city as a key for prolonging the offensive on Kostyantynivka and the Kramatorsk-Slovyansk agglomeration.

The occupiers spare no effort and look for weak spots, Yevlash emphasizes.

At even the slightest opportunity to break through the defense somewhere - "the occupiers strengthen their groups and resort to assault actions."

"As of now, this can be considered one of their powerful thrusts on Chasiv Yar... Access to Chasiv Yar will open up the enemy's way to support their offensive actions, a springboard for an offensive on Kostyantynivka. Of course, the main target in the Donetsk region is Kramatorsk-Slovyansk agglomeration," said the military man.
