Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised the issue of Sandeshkhali during a rally in West Bengal and fiercely attacked the Trinamool Congress.

PM Modi alleged that Trinamool Congress tried its best to save the accused of Sandeshkhali.

He also put the opposition India alliance in the dock and said that the leaders of the opposition alliance 'India' are silent on the atrocities in Sandeshkhali. 

Addressing a rally in Arambag, West Bengal, PM Modi said that the incidents of Sandeshkhali are a matter of shame.

He also said that the main accused has not been arrested for almost two months. 

He said that the whole country is angry after seeing what TMC did to the sisters of Sandeshkhali.

Along with this, PM Modi also attacked the opposition alliance India and said that I am ashamed to see that the leaders of the opposition alliance 'India' are silent on the atrocities in Sandeshkhali.
