The head of the Ukrainian GUR,

Kyrylo Budanov,

expressed doubt that there were any disagreements between President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny.

This opinion was expressed by the main Ukrainian intelligence officer in an interview with CBC News.

According to him, there can hardly be personal differences between the president and the military commander.

After all, Budanov emphasized, one is subordinate to the other.

CBC News notes that the intelligence chief "hinted" that Zelensky made the right decision to replace Zaluzhny.

"If everything is good, everything is wonderful and everything is done correctly, then why are we in the situation we are in?" - noted Kyrylo Budanov.

We will remind you that earlier President

Volodymyr Zelenskyi explained why he dismissed the head of the commissar

Valery Zaluzhny.

According to him, it is about rebooting, restructuring and changing the management of the military command.
