President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi commented on the idea of French President Emmanuel Macron regarding Western troops in Ukraine, and also announced his visit.

Zelenskyy announced this during a press conference following the results of the "Ukraine-Southeastern Europe" summit.

The President of Ukraine made a statement regarding the possible dispatch of ground troops of Western countries to our country.

Zelensky noted that any initiatives of world leaders aimed at strengthening Ukraine in repelling Russian aggression will be good for the whole world.

"I was not at that summit, he (Macron - ed.) said that he will talk about certain new ideas on how to strengthen Ukraine and will share information when he arrives in Ukraine. He should be in mid-March... If any initiatives strengthen Ukraine in the world, they are good for the whole world," he emphasized.

At the same time, according to Zelenskyi, currently the main fundamental initiative is for the partners to fulfill their previous agreements on the timely supply of weapons to Ukraine.

"We need to survive, and to survive for Ukraine means having very specific decisions. This is very important. That's why I can't share with you, for example, information about the number of artillery, the number of 155 mm ammunition... All the things where we have agreements and aid contracts, everything should arrive on time," he said.

We will remind you that French President Emmanuel Macron announced not only the theoretical dispatch of the troops of Western countries to Ukraine, but these words remained unnoticed by the general public.

Adviser to the director of the National Institute of Strategic Studies Andrii Veselovsky drew attention to Macron's words, in addition to "troops in Ukraine".
