The name of the driver and home guard jawan who died in the accident is Mohammad Halim Alam.

During the Jan Vishwas Yatra of Bihar's main opposition party Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav, an escort vehicle deployed for security collided with a car.

A police official said that in this accident, the driver of the escort vehicle died on the spot while nine people including six other policemen were injured.

Confirming the accident, Superintendent of Police Upendra Nath Verma said that all the injured have been admitted to the Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment.

The name of the driver, home guard jawan, who died in the accident was Mohammad Halim Alam, who was a resident of Madhubani.

Sadar sub-division police officer Pushkar Kumar said that six BMP personnel have been seriously injured after the collision between a car and an escort vehicle.

Three people traveling in the car were also injured in the accident.

Due to the airbags of the car opening after the accident, the occupants of the car did not suffer much injury and are out of danger.

Everyone is being treated at the Government Medical College Hospital.
