CM Bhajan Lal Sharma returned to Jaipur after greeting the people of Niwai with folded hands.

ERCP Gratitude Yatra:

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma became victim of a strange incident in Tonk during the ERCP Gratitude Yatra on Sunday when the district administration stopped him from giving a speech on the mike citing the Supreme Court order.

Due to this the Chief Minister had to return to Jaipur without addressing the public meeting.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma had set out on a gratitude yatra on Sunday on the approval of the modified Parvati Kalisindh Chambal Integrated ERCP Project.

Preparations for his proposed meeting at Niwai in Tonk district were complete, but when the CM reached there 4 hours late from the scheduled time, he was stopped from addressing him citing the guidelines of the Supreme Court.

According to the report, even before the Chief Minister reached the proposed program in Niwai, the Tonk district administration had switched off the mike of Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa and Minister Kanhaiya Lal, who were present on the stage in Niwai, citing the guidelines of the Supreme Court.

In such a situation, when the CM reached there, he thanked the public without a mic and had to return to Jaipur.

The proposed ERCP Abhar Yatra meeting in Niwai was to be addressed by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma along with Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, BJP State President CP Joshi at 6 pm on Sunday, but the Chief Minister reached the public meeting at 10 pm.

In such a situation, citing rules, the district administration stopped the CM from giving a speech on the mic.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma had to return without addressing the public meeting.

It is noteworthy that according to the guidelines of the Supreme Court, the mic cannot be used at 10 pm.

In such a situation, being unable to address the public on the mic due to arriving late, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma went straight towards the pandal near the barricades to accept the greetings of the public and had to address from the stage without the mic.

CM said, first of all I want to apologize to you all.

The program was made very quickly, but I could not dare to leave the affection of the workers on the way.

I promise you that I will definitely come to Niwai and meet you, because we all are bound by the law, the Chief Minister is also bound by the law.

However, even before the CM reached Niwai, the district administration officials present there had appealed to the leaders present on the stage including Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa, MP and local MLA Ramsahay Verma to switch off the mike at 10 o'clock, but then the mike was switched off. The Chief Minister reached the public meeting venue, but had to return without giving a speech.
