If Ukraine does not receive additional support from the West, there is a high chance of losing Kupyansk and Kharkiv.

Such an assumption was made by Member of Parliament

Tetyanova Ustinova

in a comment for Deutsche Welle.

"Avdiyivka is the first step of what Ukraine will look like. Because after Avdiyvka, there will be Kupyansk, and, unfortunately, Kharkiv will be next. Kharkiv is the second largest city in Ukraine, with a population of over a million people. And we understand that if we lose Kupyansk, which is a major rail hub, we also, unfortunately, have a very high chance of losing Kharkiv. And again, unless there's additional support, unless there's ammunition, and unless we get longer-range missiles, if we won't have the F-16s, the promised F-16s, this summer, unfortunately, we're going to have a huge problem," she said.

It will be recalled that the head of state Volodymyr Zelenskyi commented on the threat of the occupation of Kupyansk.
