The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, is sure that there is no need to be afraid of the repeated occupation of Kupyansk, because the defensive line of defense in the Kharkiv region is "very good".

Zelensky said this in Kyiv at a joint press conference with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the Prime Ministers of Belgium, Alexander de Croo, Italy, Georgia Maloney, and Canada, Justin Trudeau, UNIAN reports.

A Belgian journalist on behalf of the mayor of Kupyansk asked Zelensky if he agrees with the mayor's opinion that the West should stop making promises and urgently provide weapons now, because "then it will be too late."

The head of state admitted that there are military delays, but the "defense support that is provided to us - it is important that it arrives on time."

"But I want to tell you and remind the mayor that the real defense line in the Kharkiv region is very, very good. Thanks to our people, but also thanks to the defense support of our partners. And we must not forget about this. Indeed, every day takes away people, and therefore nervousness and such mood of the mayor's messages are understandable. But we should also be grateful for the fact that we are not alone against such an enemy. And we must not forget about it either," Zelenskyy emphasized.

We will remind you that the Russian Federation continues its offensive attempts in the Lymano-Kupian direction.
