On Thursday, February 22, the German Bundestag adopted the recommendation of the Scholz government to provide Ukraine with long-range heavy weapons, including Taurus missiles.

Yehor Chernev, deputy chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence and head of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the NATO PA, announced this.

"The Bundestag has just voted for a recommendation to provide Ukraine with long-range systems for delivering 'point strikes deep in the rear of the Russian aggressor'. That is, Tauruses. This is a coalition document, unlike the opposition one, which was rejected a little earlier today," he said.

Now it's up to Chancellor Olaf Scholz to decide.

"We are gradually raising the level of the issue in order to achieve a result," Chernev added.
