Russian propagandists are spreading a provocation video with the so-called "son of Syrsky". However, Ivan Syrsky, who became the hero of Russian commercials, is not the son of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces. He is the son of Oleksandr Syrskyi's ex-wife from her other marriage. Oleksandr Syrskyi did not adopt Ivana, but divorced his mother back in 2009.

This was announced by the Center for Combating Disinformation.

Another fake of the Russians, namely a video that became part of a large-scale enemy IPsO, directed against the command of the Armed Forces, reported in the CPD.

"The Russian Federation is trying to take advantage of the fact that many Ukrainians, in particular military personnel, have relatives in Russia. This is how the enemies are trying to discredit Ukrainians," the experts added.

So Ivan Syrskyi, who became the hero of Russian commercials, is not the son of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces. He is the son of Oleksandr Syrskyi's ex-wife from her other marriage. Ivan Oleksandr Syrskyi did not adopt, but divorced his mother back in 2009.

Oleksandr Syrskyi's ex-wife left for Australia with her children and new husband 14 years ago. Colonel-General Syrsky does not maintain any relations with her family.

We will remind, on February 8, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed General Oleksandr Syrskyi as the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Despite the place of training of the commander, namely the Moscow higher military command school, which he graduated in 1986, Syrskyi's life is connected with Ukraine. He studied at the Academy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (operational-tactical level) and the National University of Defense (operational-strategic level). Graduated from educational institutions with honors.

From 1993, he commanded the motorized rifle battalion of the 6th division of the National Guard of Ukraine in Chuguyev, later he was headed by Col.

With the beginning of hostilities in Donbas in 2014, Oleksandr Syrskyi became the chief of staff of the ATO.
