At the railway station "Dorogusk" near the border with Ukraine on February 18,

Polish

farmers, who are conducting a large-scale protest, tried to block the movement of trains. The actions of the protesters were prevented by Polish police officers.

As told in "Ukrzaliznytsia", railway communication with Poland is carried out as usual. Passenger and freight trains are currently running without problems.

The company closely monitors the situation on the border with Poland and interacts with border guards, the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland, the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"Ukrzaliznytsia emphasizes the inadmissibility of blocking railway traffic. We consider such actions of protesters to be outrageous, given the history of partnership and economic relations between our countries. In addition, such actions negatively affect the defense capability of Ukraine and the borders of the EU against the Russian aggressor," the company emphasized .

We will remind,

on February 18, Polish protesters blocked the movement of passenger train #119 Kyiv - Chelm

. There are 260 passengers in the train, the absolute majority are women and children. Many passengers had further transfers and flights. After the intervention of the Polish police and railway workers, the train was unblocked and continued to move.
