Detention of people began in Novosibirsk near Navalny's spontaneous memorial in Narym Square. At least two detainees are known. 

According to the Telegram channels, the police in Novosibirsk, under the pretext of a "notice of landmines", have been holding a circle near the monument to the victims of political repression for more than 16 hours. The townspeople leave flowers in memory of Oleksiy Navalny at this memorial and in the May Day Square near the cross of the 2000th anniversary of the birth of Christ.

Photographer Svyatoslav Zyryanov was detained in Tomsk, but later released. 

Currently, more than 100 detainees are known, most of them in St. Petersburg. People were also detained in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Taganrog, Tver, Rostov-on-Don and Murmansk.
