On February 14, the Main Directorate of Intelligence destroyed the large landing ship of the Russian Federation

"Cesar Kunikov"

. The attack took place in the territorial waters of Ukraine near Alupka thanks to Magura V5 marine drones.

Dmytro Pletenchuk, the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, commented on the destruction of the ship "Cesar Kunikov" on Radio Svoboda.

He noted that the special forces of the GUR have once again worked on the redundant facility in the Black Sea.

According to Pletenchuk, after the destruction of Caesar Kunikov in the Black Sea, only five of the 13 ships of the Black Sea Fleet remain "in service".

Pletenchuk also commented on the destruction of the ship on the day of the death of the Soviet officer Caesar Kunikov, in whose honor the ship was named.

"Maybe it's bad luck, not every Caesar manages to die twice in one day," summed up Dmytro Pletenchuk.
