Several shots were fired in Kansas City during the Chiefs' celebration parade for their Super Bowl victory, police reported on X, formerly Twitter.

“Shots have been fired around Union Station. Please leave the area,” the tweet said.

“Officers are working to clear Union Station. We will let everyone inside the building out. “We are still trying to determine the number of shooting victims,” police continued.

Authorities are asking the public to leave the area near Union Station as quickly as possible while they treat the shooting victims.

“Anyone nearby should leave the area as quickly and safely as possible to facilitate treatment of the shooting victims. “Avoid the Union Station parking area to allow first responders to pass,” police said.


And he added that two armed people were arrested.

There is no information on the number of victims.
