Cyber ​​specialists of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed a hacker in Kharkiv who was a member of a Russian group, who was coordinating attacks on the city and preparing cyber attacks on the websites of Ukrainian authorities.

Cyber ​​experts exposed a member of the Russian hacking group "People's Cyber ​​Army of the Russian Federation" in Kharkiv, which is under the control of the FSB.

The attacker adjusted enemy fire on the city and prepared cyber attacks on the websites of Ukrainian authorities.

At the behest of the attacker, the Russians launched two rocket attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv.

A local hospital was among the damaged facilities.

The attacker also scouted the bases of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the region.

First of all, the enemy accomplice was interested in possible combat positions of artillery and air defense systems.

The hacker also carried out the task of the FSB of Russia to prepare a series of DDoS attacks on the websites of Ukrainian state-owned enterprises and authorities.

As a result of counter-subversive measures, SBU employees detained the perpetrator.

He turned out to be a local resident who is an IT specialist.

The FSB engaged him in cooperation through a specialized Telegram channel of hacker communities.

In order to collect intelligence about the deployment of the Defense Forces, the Kharkiv native went around the area and secretly recorded objects where Ukrainian troops could allegedly be.

The attacker sent the received information to the FSB through a popular messenger in the form of screenshots of electronic maps with the coordinates of potential targets.

During the search of the detainee's apartment, three mobile phones, a laptop and flash drives, which he used in subversive activities for the benefit of Russia, were seized.

On the basis of the collected evidence, SBU investigators informed the man of suspicion of unauthorized dissemination of information about the sending, movement of weapons, armaments and military supplies to Ukraine, the movement, movement or placement of the Armed Forces.

The perpetrator is currently in custody.

He faces up to 12 years in prison.

It will be recalled that on January 23, the Russian occupiers launched a powerful rocket attack on Kharkiv, as a result of which 10 people died.

Rescuers were looking for victims under the rubble of a five-story building.
