Lithuania has sent several million rounds of ammunition and several thousand rounds to Ukraine for portable short-range anti-tank systems to defend against Russia, the Lithuanian Defense Ministry said.

"We are listening to Ukraine's urgent requests and continue our support in accordance with the needs expressed.

We actively encourage our allies to do the same," Defense Minister Arvidas Anushauskas said.

Biden pledges new military aid to Ukraine

About 1000,<> camp beds were also delivered. Ukraine has been defending its territory against Russia's full-scale invasion for nearly two years and is largely dependent on Western support for military equipment.

Lithuania is one of Kiev's most determined supporters, DPA noted.
