New Delhi:

Three persons, including two shooters, were arrested from Haryana yesterday in connection with the brutal murder of Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, police said. The shooters were arrested from a hotel in Chandigarh late evening in a joint operation by Delhi Police and Rajasthan Police. The arrested accused have been identified as Rohit Rathod, Udham Singh and Nitin Fauji.

Police have so far arrested four people in connection with the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. On Saturday, Rajasthan Police arrested Ramveer Jat for allegedly helping the shooters (Rohit and Nitin) escape from the crime scene on their bike and dropping them on Ajmer Road.

On Tuesday, after having tea with Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, three people shot him several times from close range at his house in Jaipur. While one of them was killed, Rohit Rathod and Nitin Fauji had fled.

The sensational murder of the Rajput leader, captured on CCTV camera, led to massive protests in Rajasthan. After this, several teams were formed to nab the accused.
