A surprising case has emerged from Gurugram adjacent to Delhi. Here a domestic help was first beaten and later she was also bitten by a dog. On coming to know about the incident, the police registered a case against the accused and started its investigation. The 13-year-old girl, who worked as a domestic help, was allegedly beaten up, bitten by a dog and forced to remove her clothes by the family she works for in Gurugram's Sector 57, police said on Saturday.

According to the complaint lodged by the girl's mother, the woman of the house where the girl worked would often beat her with an iron rod and hammer, while her two sons stripped her, filmed her nude and touched her inappropriately, police said.

The girl, who was held hostage in a room with her mouth bandaged, was rescued on Sunday when her mother arrived there with her employer. In her complaint, the mother said her daughter was served food only once in 48 hours and her mouth was taped to stop her from making noise, the police said.

The FIR lodged at the Sector 51 women police station stated that the girl's owners poured acid on her hands and threatened to kill her if she revealed the incident to anyone. The girl's mother, who hails from Bihar, said she got her daughter a job on June 27 at Shashi Sharma's house in Sector 57 with the help of a vehicle cleaner in the nearby area.
