The results of the 199-member Assembly were declared on Sunday. The BJP won 199 of the 115 seats. There are a total of 200 seats in the Rajasthan Assembly, but elections were not held on one seat (Karanpur) due to the death of the Congress candidate.
In the five districts of Bharatpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Dholpur and Dausa, the BJP won 13 seats and the Congress eight. Similarly, the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) also won one seat each, while an independent candidate won one seat.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge had launched the party's campaign on ERCP from Baran ahead of the assembly polls, while Priyanka Gandhi Vadra addressed an election rally in Dausa.
Similarly, the BJP has also got success in Mewar, Vagad, Marwar and other areas.
Of the 28 seats in Udaipur, Rajsamand, Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh and Chittorgarh districts that fall under the Mewar and Vagad regions, the BJP won 17 seats and the Congress seven.
