In Odesa, a court found guilty a Chinese blogger who filmed the work of Ukrainian air defense and then posted the video on his own YouTube channel.

This is stated in the court ruling published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.

According to the investigation, a citizen of the People's Republic of China filmed the work of air defense forces in Odesa from the window of his apartment with his Canon camera while repelling a Russian attack. The Chinese released a series of videos with comments on the place and time of shooting, the characteristics of sounds, the facts of hitting the target and the consequences of the hit.

Thanks to these videos, it is possible to identify the location of fire groups of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the number and type of equipment used on the ground. Any user could view the video on it, including Russian representatives of the intelligence services.

The blogger admitted his guilt in full, repented of what he had done and assured that he had stopped such "blogging" activities.

The court took into account as a mitigating circumstance the fact that the blogger from the People's Republic of China is a young person, has never been prosecuted before and is in Ukraine legally, married, carries out entrepreneurial activities, paying taxes, which has a positive effect on the economic development of our country.

In addition, he actively supports and transferred funds for the needs of the Armed Forces, carries out . The man assured that he would continue to contribute in every possible way to the approach of Ukraine's victory.

The blogger was sentenced to five years in prison, but he was released from serving a sentence with a probationary period of one year. Also, his arrest was changed to a measure of restraint in the form of a personal obligation until the sentence comes into force.

Earlier it was reported that in Odesa, a 35-year-old man, who had previously served a sentence for theft and robbery, "leaked" the work of air defense to the Russian special services through TikTok.
