Hamas hands over 13 hostages to Israel 10:49
(CNN) -- A fifth group of hostages was moved out of Gaza on Tuesday as part of an extension of a truce brokered by the militant group Hamas and Israel.
So far, Hamas has freed 81 hostages during a five-day truce, mainly women and children. The total figure includes Israeli citizens and dual nationals, as well as foreigners from Thailand, Poland and the Philippines.
Their release has led to emotional reunions between the families, following laborious negotiations and coordination between the warring parties with the help of foreign mediation. The truce was extended on Monday for two more days, under the same terms.
As part of the deal, Israel will release three Palestinians from prison for every Israeli hostage allowed to leave Gaza. So far, 117 Palestinians have been released, mainly women and children, many of them detained but never charged.
Here's what we know about the freed hostages so far:
Israeli hostages freed Friday
All but one of those released on Friday were kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz, devastated during the Oct. 7 attacks. More than a quarter of the community died or remains missing.
Yafa Adar, 85 years old
Adar is the founder of Kibbutz Nir Oz and the oldest person Hamas took hostage on Oct. 7. A video of the woman being transported to Gaza in a golf cart driven by Hamas fighters went viral shortly after her abduction, the Hostages and Missing Families Forum said.
Kibbutz Nir Oz was devastated during the Hamas attack and more than a quarter of the community was killed or is still missing. "His eldest grandson, Tamir Adar, a 38-year-old father of two, was also abducted and is still being held hostage," Nir Oz's spokesman said.
Margalit Moses, age 77
A mother of three and grandmother of 10, she is a retired biology teacher. She is also a cancer survivor who suffers from diabetes, "fibromyalgia and takes a lot of additional medications," the Forum of Hostages and Missing Families in Israel reported. The nature lover was scheduled to travel to Mozambique this winter.
Hana Katzir, 76
She is also a member of Kibbutz Nir Oz and the wife of the late 79-year-old Rami Katzir, who was killed in his home. "Mother of three and grandmother of six. His son Elad, 47, was also kidnapped and is still in Gaza," said Nir Oz's spokesman.
Katzir was feared dead before she was spotted in the back seat of a Red Cross vehicle heading to Egypt on Friday.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad announced on November 21 that he had died, but offered no evidence. CNN did not report on Islamic Jihad's claim at the time, but some Israeli and international outlets did.
Adina Moshe, 72 years old
This retired educator and resident of Nir Oz is a mother of four and grandmother of 12. Her husband David (Sa'id) Moshe was killed in their home on October 7.
Ruth Munder, age 78
A resident of Nir Oz, a retired hairdresser and seamstress, Ruth Munder was kidnapped along with her husband, daughter Keren and only grandchild, Ohad. Her son, Roee, was killed on Oct. 7, Nir Oz's spokesman said. Her 78-year-old husband still remains in Gaza.
"She met her husband Avraham on the kibbutz... Ruth is a very talented woman, she was a kibbutz librarian and seamstress. She also knits, paints and sews. She is retired. Ruth attends classes and family trips," the Hostages and Missing Families Forum said.
Keren Munder, age 54
This physical education teacher for children with special needs was born and raised in Nir Oz. She was kidnapped along with her only son, Ohad, and her parents, Ruth and Avraham, the kibbutz spokesman said.
Ohad Munder, 9 years old
Kibbutz Nir Oz spokesman said Munder "came to Nir Oz to visit his family" when he was kidnapped along with his loved ones.
Daniel Aloni, 45, and Emilia Aloni, 5
Daniel Aloni was one of three women who appeared in a hostage video Hamas released late last month. She came to Nir Oz to visit her family and was kidnapped along with her daughter Emilia. His sister Sharon Aloni-Cunio and other family members were kidnapped and remain in Gaza, Nir Oz's spokesman said.
On the day of the attack, "Daniel sent the last message to his family and said that there were terrorists in his house and he feared that they would not survive. Now Daniel and Emilia are on their way to Israel," the Hostages and Missing Families Forum said in a statement.
Doron Katz Asher, 34 years old, Raz Asher, 4 years old, Aviv Asher, 2 years old
Doron visited Nir Oz with her family and was kidnapped along with her two daughters, Aviv and Raz, as well as other family members, including Efrat Katz. "They were recorded as they were taken to Gaza," the Forum on Hostages and Missing Families said. Doron lives in Ganot Hadar and works as an accountant.
Their cousin, Dori Roberts, told CNN in October that she received a video posted on social media showing the two women and girls being taken hostage by Hamas fighters at Kibbutz Nir Oz in southern Israel. "She seemed so horrified and confused and shocked," she said of her aunt, Efrat, in the video.
Her aunt's 79-year-old partner and another relative were also taken hostage, Roberts said. "Those never-ending thoughts about, 'Where are they? How are you? What are they going through every minute of the day? That can really drive you crazy," Roberts said.
Channa Peri, 79 years old
Peri, who lived in Kibbutz Nirim, immigrated to Israel from South Africa in the 1960s. She worked at a grocery store and is the mother of three children, one of whom was killed on Oct. 7 and another kidnapped. "He has diabetes and suffers from severe vision loss in one of his eyes," the Forum of Hostages and Missing Families said in a statement.
Israeli hostages freed on Saturday
Emily Hand, 9 years old
Thomas, Emily's father, initially thought his daughter had been killed in the Hamas attacks on October 7.
Weeks later, Israeli authorities told her that Emily might still be alive, as they had not located her body and found no blood in the house where she was sleeping.
On Sunday, the Israeli military released an emotional video of Emily running into her father's arms.
Emily served nine years in captivity, he previously told CNN Hand, that he is a single father after his wife died of cancer.
On Saturday, he told CNN that he hopes this is the first step toward Emily's recovery and that he is aware of the long road ahead of her to heal after being in captivity for nearly 50 days.

"That's part of the deal," the official said. "It's unknown where he is and what happened to him."
Maya Regev, 21 years old
Maya and her 18-year-old brother Itay were taken hostage by Hamas gunmen at the Nova festival.
In an interview with CNN last month, her father Ilan repeated a terrifying call Maya made to him. "Dad, I've been shot, I've been shot," Maya is heard yelling over the phone. "It's killing us, Dad, it's killing us."
Upon her release, Maya was taken to Soroka Hospital to be treated for a moderate wound, according to a written statement from the hospital and Israel's Ministry of Health. According to the statement, Regev is in stable condition and his injuries are not life-threatening.

Manee Jirachart's father, Chumporn, spoke to CNN last month in a remote village in Thailand.
