State Congress president Govind Singh Dotasara on Wednesday exuded confidence that the party will once again form the government with full majority in the state. At the same time, he said the BJP's agenda of religious polarisation in the state had failed. The counting of votes will take place on December 25, after which a new government will be formed in Rajasthan.
Dotasara said, "After the voting, the trends that are coming from the public, political analysts, the only thing that is coming out is that in Rajasthan, the customs will change, not the rule." The Congress party will once again come to power in Rajasthan with full majority.
It is noteworthy that in every assembly election in the state, there is a 'custom' of changing the government. In this context, Dotasara claimed that this time the 'custom' will change, not 'raj'. While the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government is confident of returning to power on the basis of the public welfare schemes announced, the BJP is confident of returning to power on the issue of development, corruption and women's crime.
"Religious polarisation is a major agenda for the opposition BJP, but the way our government has taken everyone along, it has not worked out this agenda in Rajasthan.
Talking about the ambitious schemes of the state government, Dotasara said that the public welfare schemes announced and the model of better governance of the state are being discussed all over the country and there is also a competition to adopt them. It is known that before the election, Congress has announced 7 guarantees, in which a woman of the family has been guaranteed a domestic gas cylinder for Rs 10,000 and Rs 500 every year. However, the BJP has also made some such guarantees in its manifesto.
