Unfortunately, work to restore damage due to bad weather is still ongoing. At the same time, the revitalization of previously de-energized settlements caused a sharp increase in consumption, which creates an additional load on the power system.

This was announced on the air of the telethon by the chairman of the board of NPC Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytskyi.

Ukrainians are urged to save money

Today, November 29, a rather sharp increase in consumption was recorded after electricity was restored to hundreds of settlements.

"It is obvious that people began to consume electricity quite intensively after a long interruption in the power supply," the expert said.

Therefore, Ukraine was forced to attract emergency assistance from Poland and Romania to balance the system.

"Therefore, the call for frugal energy consumption remains valid. This is especially important now, in times of bad weather and increased electricity consumption," Volodymyr Kudrytskyi emphasizes.

Earlier, the specialist explained why Ukrainians should save electricity.
