(CNN) –– Donald Trump's lawyers told the court Monday that they plan to call the former president to the stand on Dec. 11 as the last defense witness in the civil fraud trial against the former president in New York.

His son Eric Trump, also a defendant in the case, is scheduled to testify on Dec. 6, according to Chris Kise, Trump's lawyer.
This will be the second time the former president and Eric Trump have taken the witness stand, after prosecutors called them to testify earlier this month.
The defense previously said it will finish presenting its case in mid-December.

Patrick Birney, an executive with the Trump Organization, is currently testifying for the defense. His testimony follows that of the Trump Organization's director of hotel operations, Mark Hawthorn, who was on the stand for most of Monday.
Four Deutsche Bank officials involved in Trump's loans are expected to testify under subpoena starting Tuesday along with another expert by the end of the week.
