Hamas said it had handed over to the Red Cross 13 Israeli hostages, three Thais and a Russian citizen.

The Israeli army confirmed the start of the process of handing over Israeli and foreign detainees to the International Red Cross.

Diaa Rashwan, head of the State Information Service, said in a statement that Egypt had received lists of 13 Israelis and 39 Palestinians who will be released on Sunday, the third batch of a four-day truce deal brokered by Egypt and Qatar.

The statement said the truce was proceeding unhindered and that 120 aid trucks crossed from Egypt into Gaza on Sunday, including two trucks for fuel and two for cooking gas.
