On Sunday, November 26, at about 11:40 a.m., the Russian army launched three strikes on Toretsk in the Donetsk region. A 60-year-old resident of the city was injured during the hit on an apartment building. He was taken to hospital with a shrapnel wound.

This was reported in a comment to NV by the spokeswoman of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office Anastasia Medvedeva.

"The man was in the apartment at the time of the attack. He was taken to the hospital with a shrapnel wound for medical care," the representative of the prosecutor's office said.

During the shelling, the enemy damaged residential buildings, a medical facility and a shop. Law enforcement officers have launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

It will be recalled that fierce fighting continues in the Donetsk region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region and continue the offensive in the Melitopol direction. The occupying army of the Russian Federation is trying to surround Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. The Russians also tried to storm near Klishchiivka and Andriivka, but were unsuccessful.
