On the night of November 25, the Russian occupation forces carried out the most massive attack on the Kyiv since the beginning of the war. The Russian Federation used Shahed loitering UAVs in several waves and from several directions.

According to Mykhailo Shamanov, spokesman for the Kyiv City Military Administration, this is the fourth attack by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles on the Kyiv this month. It was this attack by Russian drones that became the most massive since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

"According to preliminary information, the enemy once again used loitering Shahed drones in several waves. They came from different directions, constantly changing the course and vector of movement. Air defense forces and means hit more than four dozen air targets. The final final data on the type and number of Shaheds will be compiled by the Air Force," he stressed.

The Russian Federation released a record number of drones

The Air Force shot down 71 enemy drones. In total, about 75 Shahed drones were launched from two directions – Primorsko-Akhtarsk and the Kursk region of Russia. The main direction of the attack is the city of Kyiv.

Consequences of the attack on Kyiv

In the Solomianskyi district, as a result of the fall of UAV wreckage, a fire broke out in the premises of a kindergarten, and windows were damaged in neighboring houses.

In addition, there was destruction on the second floor of a five-story building, where two women were blocked. Rescuers unblocked and evacuated them. Also in the Solomianskyi district, a fragment of a drone fell in an open area, where it caused a fire.

In the Pechersk and Podilskyi districts, debris also fell in an open area.

In the Dnipro district, a small fragment of a UAV fell on the stairwell of the top floor of a multi-storey residential building. There was no fire. The victims were not found.

In the Holosiivskyi district, a fragment of a UAV fell on a four-story residential building. Previously, no one was injured.

In total, 5 people were injured as a result of the Russian attack on the capital, including an 11-year-old child. All of them received medical care on the spot or in the emergency room, without further hospitalization.

Kyiv partially de-energized

As a result of a massive drone attack on November 25, there were problems with electricity supply in Kyiv. In the capital, after the shelling, 77 residential buildings and 120 institutions are without electricity.

Restoration work is currently underway.

In addition, during the shelling in the Kyiv region, 330 kV overhead lines were disconnected. The preliminary reason is damage as a result of a Russian drone attack.

The reaction of the President's Office to the night massive attack on the Kyiv

The head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, promised a response to Moscow.

"The war with civilians is the same as 90 years ago. Then there was the Holodomor, now the Russians would also like to, but they couldn't. So it remains to launch Shaheds at civilians, but there will be a response for everything, there will be retribution for everything," Yermak said in a statement.

Zelensky reacted to the actions of the occupiers

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that the attack was staged by the Russian Federation on the Day of Remembrance of the Holodomor Victims.

"More than 70 Shahed drones on the night of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holodomor-Genocide. Conscious terror. It is at this time. The Russian leadership is proud of the fact that it can kill," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
