While the Ukrainian military is conducting offensive operations on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region, it is inappropriate to talk about the completion of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This opinion was expressed on the air of the telethon by military expert, director of the Center for Military and Legal Studies Oleksandr Musienko.
"As long as the actions on the left bank of the Kherson region continue, to say that this offensive is over, to put it mildly, is incorrect in relation to those people, at least, who are now conducting actions... How is it over, if they are advancing... It is possible to develop this offensive and succeed if more equipment, forces and means, and air defense systems are used to cover our contingents. Provided that Dnipro is formed, if such a decision is made and it can be done, because it is difficult... transfer of additional 2-3 brigades of forces and means, I think that we have very good prospects there," Musienko said.
He stressed that now the Armed Forces of Ukraine have a bridgehead where, from the point of view of maneuver warfare, there is an opportunity to develop success.
Earlier, it was reported that some of the most combat-ready units of the Russian army are disappearing near Avdiivka, in particular, three elite reconnaissance groups of the enemy recently disappeared in this area.
In addition, we previously reported that the occupier, who is fighting near Bakhmut, complained about the inaction of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and spoke about losses.
