The Ministry of Internal Affairs recently handed over digitized copies of more than 1000 criminal cases from the period of the genocide of Ukrainians to the Holodomor Museum.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"The indescribable pain of the entire Ukrainian people. A terrible tragedy that cannot be forgotten and forgiven. Genocide by famine. A cruel and cynical crime against humanity. This is confirmed by numerous testimonies of people who have been preserved in the archives," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko, almost a hundred years later, the enemy has not abandoned its goal of destroying our identity, taking away freedom and depriving us of independence.

"We are carefully collecting evidence and documenting all the war crimes of the occupiers. They will definitely be responsible for everything. We will never give up our freedom. We have to go this way, united and without fear. We must defeat evil in order to never allow tragedies to happen again. We must remember the black pages of history, because national memory is a component of our security," the Minister of Internal Affairs stressed.
