Due to Polish carriers, who have been blocking checkpoints on the border with Ukraine for a long time, problems began with the supply of fuel to Ukraine.
This was announced on the air of the national telethon by Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Markiyan Dmytrasevych.
According to him, the crossing of the Polish border for Ukrainian trucks is actually blocked, on average, one truck per hour passes every day.
"Of course, this reduces the level of our food exports," said the Deputy Minister of Agriculture.
Markiyan Dmytrasevych noted that Ukraine has the opportunity to use railways, as well as one of the main trade routes - through the Danube, but this does not save the situation.
"We already see problems with such important supplies as, for example, fuel to Ukraine. This must also be taken into account," he stressed.
Recall that on November 6, a strike of Polish carriers began at the border. It was about three checkpoints, to which a fourth was added. The protesters actually demand the abolition of the transport visa-free regime.
