Kanker Chhattisgarh: Police and security forces have foiled a major conspiracy of Naxalites in Naxal-affected Chhattisgarh (Chhattisgarh). In fact, naxals had planted an IED near Tekri between Ulia and Mad Pakhanjur to target security forces in Kanker district, which was detected and defused by the security forces in time.

During the search, the security forces found an IED planted near Tekri between village Ulia and Mad Pakhanjur. These IEDs were planted in the form of 3 pipe bombs and two cooker bombs, which were detected and recovered by the police. After this, the soldiers defused all the IEDs on the spot. Superintendent of Police Divyang Patel confirmed the success. Let us tell you that during the first phase of elections, there was an encounter between the police and the Naxalites at this place.

8 Naxal incidents took place on the day of the first phase of polling

Let us tell you that on the day of the first phase of assembly elections in Chhattisgarh on November 7, Naxals had exploded a landmine. Along with this, incidents of firing on security forces were also reported at eight places. Four security personnel were injured in Sukma district in attacks on security forces guarding the polls. Apart from this, a soldier of CRPF's Cobra battalion was also injured in a landmine blast at a place in the district.
