Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday participated in the Dussehra (Dussehra 2023) program in Dwarka, Delhi. During his address, PM Modi called for an end to distortions like casteism, regionalism that harm harmony in society. He also said that the festival of Vijayadashami is not just a festival of Ram's victory over Ravana, but should become a festival of victory of patriotism over every evil of the nation. During this, he wished everyone a happy Navratri and Vijayadashami. During the program, aarti of Lord Rama, Lakshman and Sita was also performed.

PM Modi said that we should take a pledge to end the evils and discrimination in the society. "I extend my greetings and good wishes to all Indians on the auspicious occasion of Navratri and vijayadashami. I wish you all the best. This festival of Vijayadashami is the festival of victory of justice over injustice, victory of humility over ego and victory of patience over passion.

He said that this time we are celebrating Vijayadashami when two months have not been completed since our victory on the moon. There is also a law of shastra puja on Vijayadashami. On Indian soil, weapons are worshiped not to dominate any land but to protect it.

He said that India has emerged victorious on the moon. We are going to be the third largest economy in the world. A few weeks ago, we entered the new Parliament building. Parliament has passed the Nari Shakti Vandana Act to give representation to women power. India is emerging as the world's largest democracy today.

Regarding the construction of Ram temple, the PM said that we are fortunate that we are able to see the grand temple of Lord Ram being built. On the next Ram Navami of Ayodhya, every voice echoing in the temple of Ramlala will make the whole world happy. There are only a few months left for Lord Ram to sit in the Ram temple.
