On October 11, at the Ramstein meeting, the United Kingdom will announce a new military aid package for Ukraine worth more than £100 million ($122 million). The package provides assistance for demining fields, supporting vehicles and strengthening the protection of critical infrastructure.

This was reported on the website of the British government.

The new military aid package, which will be provided at the expense of the International Fund for Ukraine, will be announced by British Defense Minister Grant Shapps and his counterparts from partner countries at a meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine.

Shapps noted that during his recent visit to Kyiv, he assured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of Britain's unwavering support.

"Today, I am proud to announce that the United Kingdom, together with our allies, is delivering on that promise by signing new contracts to provide Ukraine with critical air defence systems to protect civilians from Putin's barbaric bombing campaign, as well as over £100 million in new equipment to give Ukrainian soldiers what they need to Russia," the British defence minister said.

It is reported that this aid package will contain important equipment to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine overcome minefields, bridges for river crossings and trenches, as well as heavy vehicles to destroy non-explosive obstacles and help create protection for Ukraine's critical infrastructure.

To recap, Germany announced the provision of a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth about 1 billion euros. In particular, the package will contain an additional Patriot air defense system, IRIS-T SLM air defense system, and three Gepard anti-aircraft guns.
