The administration of the President of the United States, Joe Biden, is confident that it would be a big mistake to refuse to help Ukraine in its confrontation with Russian aggressors.

White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said this at a briefing, Ukrinform reports.

"It would be a big mistake for us to turn our backs [on helping Ukraine], on what the brave people of Ukraine have been doing every day for more than a year," the US presidential spokeswoman said, referring to Biden's statements.

She stated that this is why the U.S. government continues to support broad commitments to support Ukraine.

"We're seeing this in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, from both Republicans and Democrats," Jean-Pierre said.

In addition, the White House spokeswoman noted that President Joe Biden is confident that nothing has changed on this issue, such support exists, and it should be continued.

Earlier, it was reported that the President of the United States, Joe Biden, announced a "big speech" in support of Ukraine.

In addition, we previously reported that journalist Vitaly Portnikov told what the consequences of this would actually be for Ukraine.
