Video from the looted Apple Store shows iPhones and iPads scattered on the display table. Fox News reported that many of the stolen Apple products were eventually abandoned due to their anti-theft features.

According to the police, 15 to 20 people have been arrested on charges of robbery. In the viral video on the internet, the mob is seen occupying the shops.

The protesters are said to have gathered to demand justice for Eddie Irizari, who was shot dead by a Philadelphia police officer last month. Initial reports of vandalism near Rittenhouse Square started pouring in after 8 pm. After this, peaceful protesters dispersed in the ongoing meeting at City Hall.

However, Senior Philadelphia Police Officer John Stanford insisted that Irizari's supporters had nothing to do with Tuesday night's unrest.
