If the commander of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, Viktor Sokolov, was liquidated, then "this is good news for everyone."

This was stated in a comment to CNN by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.

However, the head of the Ministry of Defense did not confirm or deny the destruction of Sokolov on September 22 as a result of a Ukrainian missile strike on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in Sevastopol.

"He was in our temporarily occupied territories. It shouldn't be there at all. So if he is dead, this is good news for everyone, and we continue to de-occupy our territory," Umerov said.

By the way, the day before, on September 26, the Russian Ministry of Defense showed an image of the allegedly living commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Sokolov, at a meeting. The agency also released a video recording of the meeting, where Sokolov looks completely motionless on the screen, even when he suddenly has glasses between 5-second gluing.

As reported, on September 22, powerful explosions rang out in the temporarily annexed Sevastopol. The occupiers announced an attack on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet. After the defeat of the headquarters, 34 officers were killed, including the commander of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation Viktor Sokolov.
