Ukraine will not leave new Russian attacks on energy infrastructure unanswered, but needs more weapons, including multi-role fighter jets.
This was stated on the air of CNN by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
He noted that the Russian occupiers will again focus on strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure in winter.
"But we will respond," Umerov said.
He said that the Ukrainian military needs to get multi-role fighters as soon as possible, which will help achieve greater success in the counteroffensive.
"We need more game-changing weapons. Hopefully, multirole fighter jets will arrive soon and we will make progress. We need these weapons to regain territories and have an advantage on the battlefield," Umerov said.
Earlier, it was reported that Energoatom brought all seven nuclear power units to maximum capacity.
In addition, we previously reported that the energy industry has joined forces to prepare for winter.
