The monument of the Soviet Army in Sofia woke up with an interesting banner on the scaffolding.

The panel traces the development of Bulgaria and our goals as a member of the EU and NATO.

At the end of the summer, a metal fence was placed around the monument. This happened after on August 15, the mayor of Sredets district, Traycho Traykov, asked the Sofia regional government to secure the monument until it was moved.

The construction of scaffolding around the Monument to the Soviet Army has begun

A decision to move it was taken in March by the Sofia Municipal Council (SCC), and in August the regional governor Vyara Todeva triggered the procedure.
