The administration of the President of the United States, Joe Biden, refused to comment on the possible death of the commander of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, Viktor Sokolov.
This position was expressed by White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre.
She noted that Washington is aware of the relevant messages from Ukraine.
When asked by journalists to comment on the US position on the possible death of the commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, she said that "we have seen the message, and, of course, we know about the video."
The White House spokeswoman said that the United States could not confirm this information, as there were no official statements.
"But obviously we are aware of the reports," the White House spokeswoman said.
Earlier, it was reported that the White House is confident that Ukraine will retain bipartisan support in Congress.
