Raise the salaries of prosecutors' assistants. The change comes into force on October 1, 2023, the SJC press center announced.

The Prosecutorial College of the Supreme Judicial Council amended, on the grounds of art. 314, para. 1 of the JSA, the Classifier of Positions in the Administration of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bulgaria and determined the remuneration of the employees "prosecutor's assistant" to be in the amount of 70 to 90 percent of the basic remuneration for the lowest prosecutorial position.

The decision is related to established inconsistencies in remuneration between prosecutorial and judicial assistants. According to the currently valid Classifier, the remuneration for the position of "prosecutor's assistant" is determined by precise amounts in the specified range.
